Paramount’s low budget division, Insurge, is getting ready to take off into hyper space with its first sci-fi themed flick known for now as Equinox. Don’t worry, kids; this isn’t a remake of the weirdo cult classic. It’s a beast of a different kind.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Equinox is being written by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes. Project details are being kept secret, but it is being described as “Dead Calm in space,” according to sources. That flick told the tale of a married couple going head-to-head with a murderer.
