Dead Pixels was a hit on Xbox Live and now has made its way to PC. Relive the fun of classic video games in this pixilated zombie adventure. Players will blast their way through hordes of undead to escape the city, but don’t forget to gather supplies along the way!
From the Press Release
CSR-Studios is proud to announce that the indie hit Dead Pixels is coming to Valve’s digital distribution network, Steam. Windows users will be able to purchase the game from 6pm GMT today onwards, for the low price of $2.99/£1.99/€2.99.
In Dead Pixels a toxic waste spill finds its way into the water supply, causing the recently deceased to rise from their graves. Now it’s up to the player to blast your way through the hordes of undead if they’re going to escape the city. On the way to your rescue, they’ll search stores and houses for supplies, and trade with other survivors.
Originally released on Xbox Live Indie Games in September of 2011, Dead Pixels has since gone on to sell more than 60,000 copies, and become one of the highest rated games on the service. In May 2012, it got its PC launch with the Indie Royale’s Graduation Bundle and in September, it was the awarded 2nd place in Microsoft’s prestigious Dream Build Play contest.
