Adam Wingard’s epic monster mash Godzilla Vs Kong is (currently) set to be unleashed in May 2021. And today we have new images of the upcoming Godzilla/King Kong hybrid “One Kaiju” figure by Rebor.
Check it out below.
Looks like King Kong’s top half and Godzilla’s bottom half. Kind of like some Kongzilla mermaid type deal. No word on when this Godzilla / King Kong hybrid hits. But we’ll keep you updated. Stay tuned!
Godzilla vs Kong
Here’s the kick-ass plot synopsis. It’s a time when monsters walk the Earth. Humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course. And the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain. They unearth clues to the Titans’ origins. But a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.
Wingard directs from a screenplay written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein. Terry Rossio, Michael Dougherty, and Zach Shields came up with the story based on Godzilla by Toho and King Kong by Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper.
The King Kong flick stars Alexander Skarsgård (The Stand), Millie Bobby Brown, and Rebecca Hall. Brian Tyree Henry co-stars with Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir. Mary Parent produced with Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, and Brian Rogers.
Rated PG-13 for “intense sequences of creature violence/destruction and brief language.” Godzilla vs. Kong is currently set to be released on May 21, 2021.
