Spanish filmmaker Romén Rivero created the horror short Noctámbulos (Night Owls) with a budget of $500 and no crew. Still, the film went on to win 15 awards internationally after screening at over 100 festivals including HorrorHound 2019, Panic Fest 2020, Texas Frightmare Weekend 2019, Macabro Film Fest 2019, Horror-On-Sea Film Festival 2020, and RazorReel Flanders Film Festival 2019.

Rivero just released Noctámbulos on YouTube, and you can check it out for yourself below.

Synopsis:
In the middle of the night, a group of teenagers practice skateboarding without notice that somebody is watching them from the shadows. One of the girls separates from the group to return home through the lonely streets of the city and someone follows her.
