Rodionoff Directs a Trance
I know the name Hans Rodionoff might not mean a lot to you, unless you’ve been following the site very closely for the last few years, but he’s the scribe behind the upcoming sequel Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, as well as Man-Thing and, back when the project was still happening, Tortured Souls.
Now he’s ready to make his leap from writing to directing with his first film, Trance, from a script by fellow horror madman and Montreal badass John Fallon, aka Arrow in the Head. Trance was just sold to Upload Films for Rodionoff to direct and casting is already underway with production expected to kick in sometime next month.
In the story about the sale over on Arrow in the Head, Fallon describes Trance as Night of the Demons for today’s generation. What the hell more do you need to know? I’m there! Fallon is out of the production side so who knows how much of the script will make it to screen but if it’s really that similar to the 80’s classic, let’s hope they don’t fuck with it too much!
We’ll keep our ears open and give you more Trance stuffage when it comes to light!
