This Day in Horror History: Happy Birthday Michael Rapaport
Few actors can ping-pong between mainstream and menacing with as much aplomb as Michael Rapaport. Horror fans will remember his performances in True Romance, Kiss of Death, Deep Blue Sea, The 6th Day, and Kiss of the Damned, though his filmography is much more extensive.
Trivia:
As a youngster, he was a die-hard fan of Eddie Murphy and used to dress up like him in gold chains and white suits. He later got to work with his idol in the film Metro (1997) and on Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001). (Source)
Personal Quote:
“Sometimes people think I’m dumber than I am because of the characters that I play. But it takes a genius to play a fool.” (Source)
Michael Rapaport was born on this day in 1970 and, today, all of us at Dread Central wish him a very Happy Birthday!
