Mutant Punks Vs Vietnam Vets In VFW Trailer with Stephen Lang

One of our favorite up-and-coming directors out there is Almost Human and The Mind’s Eye filmmaker Joe Begos. And speaking of Begos, his new must-see horror-action flick VFW stars Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Martin Kove, George Wendt, and action legend Fred Williamson.

VFW will be storming its way into limited theaters, VOD, and Digital HD on Valentine’s Day (of all days) and wouldn’t you just know it, this morning we have the trailer for your viewing pleasure.

Go ahead and give the blood-soaked trailer a look-see up top! After that let us know what you think of VFW thus far in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!

The action-thriller centers on an army of drug-addicted maniacs who surround and attack a small group of army veterans at the latter’s bar.

Director Joe Begos tells EW: “It’s a classic siege movie. Mutant punks versus Vietnam vets, which to me are the two coolest sets of characters you can have in a genre movie. So, to be able to pit them against each other is a cinematic playground for me.”

Begos just put out the blood-drenched but more artistically-inclined vampire tale Bliss.

He says: “I love crazy-ass hallucinatory arthouse horror movies but I also love white-knuckle f—ing straight-up genre pictures. The fact that I can do both of those in a short amount of time is really quite exhilarating.”

VFW will be released in theaters, VOD, and Digital HD on February 14, 2020.
