Camelot Entertainment to Distribute The Holding

UK thriller The Holding made its US debut at Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX last year, but as of yet there has been no word about a US DVD distro. That is until Camelot Entertainment swooped in and grabbed the rights to the film. Now it’s just a matter of time until we can all experience the claustrophobic creepiness that is The Holding.
Although no official release date has yet been announced, Camelot is excited to get The Holding out into our sweaty, waiting hands. The film, directed by Susan Jacobson, stars Kierston Wareing (It’s a Free World, Fish Tank), Vincent Regan (300, Clash of the Titans), David Bradley (Harry Potter series, Hot Fuzz) and Terry Stone (Rollin’ With The Nines). Camelot Distribution Group has acquired domestic distribution rights to The Holding, an exciting thriller which follows the story of a mother living with a dark, buried secret and the stranger who digs it up.
“This should be a great pick-up for a savvy US DVD and digital distributor that wants a hardboiled sexy thriller in the vein of Straw Dogs,” stated Michael Kananack Co-President of Distribution.
Synopsis
On an isolated farm in the English Countryside, Cassie Naylor kills her husband to protect her daughters from him. Eight months later, when a charming drifter shows up, her terrible secret comes back to haunt her in the most horrifying and unexpected way.
