From Momentum Pictures, the trailer for Mollywood suggests a gritty crime procedural that ventures deep into horror territory; I detect hints of Se7en and Saw. There’s also a morality tale at play, featuring a generation of millennials with priorities completely out of whack. Check it out for yourself at the top of the article.
Synopsis:
Mollywood a Psychological Thriller follows a serial killer who disguises himself as a drug dealer in order to “deliver” young people their worshiped drugs. The serial killer is simultaneously tracked by a determined detective in the city.
Mollywood is directed by Morocco Vaughn from a screenplay penned by Ken Hoyd; the film stars Anastasia Zorin, Micah Fitzgerald, and Harold Dennis. Look for it on digital and On Demand beginning June 4th, 2019.
