Orion Seeking A-List Actor for Voice of New Chucky in CHILD’S PLAY Reboot

We know what Chucky will look like when Orion’s Child’s Play reboot hits US theaters on June 21st, but we don’t know what he’ll sound like. Since there are some major differences between the remake and the original, this is important. We’ve been told that this iteration Chucky isn’t possessed by a serial killer, rather he’s artificial intelligence run amuck.

So, fans have been wondering what New Chucky will sound like compared to Classic Chucky. Will he have a child’s voice or a robot voice? Will he have one voice, or two?

Well, Orion has been holding test screenings and… word gets around, no matter how many NDA’s are signed. YouTubers Jimmy Champane and 3C Films have released a 2-part dissection of all the comments and opinions they’ve gathered so far. There are a ton of spoilers, so listen at your own risk. But there is one bit of information that’s absolutely is worth sharing.

According to 3C, the final voice of New Chucky hasn’t been cast yet—and that producers are determined to snag an A-List actor for the job. In the test screening currently making the rounds, Chuck is voiced by the head of animatronics while the official actor is being procured. We don’t know, however, if Orion is looking for an adult A-Lister or a child A-Lister.

If you don’t care about spoilers, you can listen to Jimmy Campane and 3C’s videos HERE and HERE. Otherwise, skip down to the trailer and synopsis below.
