Both GODZILLA VS KONG & ANNABELLE 3 Get Bumped-Up Release Dates

We’ve still got three more months until Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits US theaters, but at least we won’t have to wait as long as we thought to see that film’s sequel. Godzilla vs Kong (directed by Adam Wingard) was originally slated to stomp into theaters on May of 2020 but Legendary announced yesterday that the throw down will now go down on March 13th, 2020. That’s about two months sooner, so, good times!

But that’s not the only upcoming horror movie that got a release date bump-up: We got word late yesterday that Annabelle 3 (directed by Gary Dauberman) will haunt US theaters a few days sooner than expected. It’s been moved from July 3rd to June 28th. We’re talking this year, folks, so it’s not too soon to start getting excited about this upcoming chapter in The Conjuring universe.

It’ll be a while until we get a trailer for Godzilla vs Kong, but we should be getting one for Annabelle 3 (not the official title) any week now. While we wait, check out the trailer and synopsis for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, obliterating theaters beginning May 31st.

Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah.
