TERRIFIER 05 Art the Clowns - Audition Tape that Got Actor Cast as "Art the Clown" in TERRIFIER Emerges On Facebook

At the Cult Classic Convention in Bastrop, Texas last September, I had the pleasure of talking at length with Terrifier star David Howard Thornton, who plays the now-iconic Art the Clown in writer/director Damien Leone’s opus of extreme violence. One topic of conversation was how he landed the role in the first place. He regaled me (and other fans) with a story about his audition, wherein he was asked to pantomime decapitating a stranger.

Well, the audition tape has surfaced on Facebook, and it’s truly a sight to behold. While Thornton is less terrifying without the makeup and prosthetics necessary to transform him into Art, his devilish deviousness shines through in spades! Give it a look-see on Faceb00k, HERE, and check out the synopsis and trailer for Terrifier at the bottom.

In addition to Thornton, Terrifier stars Jenna Kanell, Samantha Scaffidi, and Catherine Corcoran. Catch it on Netflix while you still can!

Synopsis:
A maniacal clown terrorizes three young women and anyone else in his way on Hallow’een night.
