Katherine Waterston Talks ALIEN: COVENANT 2

Last year all of us were excited as hell to see the return of the xenomorph in Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel/Prometheus sequel Alien: Covenant. But then the movie was “meh” at best.

So are there still plans for another go in the Alien universe from Ridley Scott? We’re not sure, and as it turns out, neither is Alien: Covenant star Katherine Waterston.

I have no idea,’ the actress told Metro. “I always feel as though the actors are the last to know. But I also feel as though I could have a great deal to do in that film, or just be rolled out in a body bag.”

Oh, boom, Waterston! For those who might not know, she’s referring to a classic character from Prometheus that was all but written off (a la Newt and Hicks in Alien 3) somewhere near the middle of Alien: Covenant. Good one, Waterston.

She continues: “I had heard some rumors about where it might go a long time ago that were really interesting to me and my character. But I haven’t heard anything in ages.”

Are you excited by the idea of another sequel/prequel from Ridley Scott? Make sure to let us know in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Alien: Covenant Synopsis:
