Exclusive: Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle – Jason Vs. Uncle Creepy
So yeah, in the new game Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle, yours truly was bestowed the opportunity to tango with the Big Man himself, Jason Voorhees. Unfortunately for me… I didn’t stand a chance. Check out the gruesome outcome.
As its name suggests, Killer Puzzle has the player controlling Jason by sliding him around an isometric puzzle grid in order to reach his victims, a far cry from last year’s Friday the 13th: The Game, in which he hunted down campers across semi-open world environments. Killer Puzzle will feature over 100 levels in total, which will take place across a huge variety of settings, ranging from Camp Crystal Lake all the way to interstellar space stations.
The Steam store page also lists a ton of bonus DLC levels for Killer Puzzle, including the Medieval-themed “Knightmare,” in which Jason quite literally becomes a knight in shining armor, and “The Ripper,” where he takes on the role of London’s most notorious serial killer. And yes, there’s even a level set in prehistoric times because let’s face it… we’ve all wanted to see a caveman version of Friday the 13th. DLC costumes will include Flaming Jason, Electrical Jason, and best of all, Bloodbath Jason.
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle was developed by Blue Wizard Digital, the folks behind Slayaway Camp, and will be released on Steam TODAY (April 13th).
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle Game Details:
Stalk and slay campers across 100+ puzzle levels with horror icon Jason Voorhees! From the campgrounds of Crystal Lake to the high-rises of Manhattan, from supermax prisons to snowy ski resorts, Jason will terrorize victims across the world (and maybe even beyond).
