Skinwalkers Rated, Moved
Man, I really don’t get the issue with getting a freaking werewolf movie out to the masses these days. Well, at least one that doesn’t involve magical teens who turn into wolves. Ugh.
Of course Skinwalkers has just been handed a PG-13 rating from the MPAA, so what if it’s no better? We’ll have a few more weeks to find out becuase it just moved yet again. Jim Isaac’s lycanthropic adventure, originally set for next Friday, July 27, will now be out on Friday, August 10th. This takes it out of competition with The Simpsons Movie, I Know Who Killed Me and, the film I’m sure will clean up at the box office, Who’s Your Caddy?
Instead, it will now be out alongside Rush Hour 3 and Stardust, which actually makes for a better outlook for the werewolf film. Now, I just hope it’s fucking good… though that rating does not inspire confidence.
