Let’s kick off October with a pretty badass bit of fan art, shall we?

Enter MikulOctopus (aka Mike Anderson), who has created a handful of illustrations that envision Pennywise from this year’s IT (review) as an anime character! To be honest, if I didn’t know any better than I would 100% assume that the below images were legitimately from an upcoming anime adaptation, which I’d be all for since I need more horror animes in my life!

Pennywise has undoubtedly become this year’s horror icon as IT has gone on to become the highest grossing horror film of history, surpassing even The Exorcist! Its success has locked down a September 6th, 2019 release date for a sequel, which will also be helmed by Andy Muschietti and produced by his sister, Barbara. That film will focus on the Losers’ Club as adults and their final battle with Pennywise, the Dancing Clown. Apart from being confirmed, nothing else has been announced regarding that movie, such as cast or shoot date.
