DC’s The Devil’s Muse: Artist Spotlight – Stephen Andrade

It’s been a little bit since we’ve had an artist spotlight on Dread Central and I feel like that’s a damn shame! Many artists out there work their rears off and a little bit of exposure might be all it takes to brighten their day and get some new eyeballs on their art.
So, for those who are not familiar with his work, allow me to introduce you to Stephen Andrade, a Connecticut-based artist whose work calls to mind the covers of E.C. Comics as well as those cheap, pulp novels that feature characters like Mike Hammer, Hollywood Detective, Doctor Death, and more.
What I love about Andrade’s work is that he clearly loves paying homage to the geekier and nerdier parts of popular culture. In the images below, you’ll see nods to Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters, Scream, “Rick and Morty”, “Bob’s Burgers”, and a lot more. Check out his stuff below!
