More Terrors Await Us in The Darkness

Yet another film detailing why we should stay in the light is on its way, and hopefully this one will play by its own rules. Lord knows Darkness Falls and The Vanishing on 7th Street didn’t, but that’s an entirely different story.
Below you’ll find the first details and art for The Darkness from Stealth Media Group. Simon Foster directs, and Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween, Halloween II, April Fool’s Day), Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, The Divide), and Frances Fisher (Unforgiven) are all in talks to star.
Synopsis
When the world is plunged into darkness, Greg Stonehaven has to somehow get to his children two hundred miles away. All forms of communication have stopped working. No cell phones, no Internet, no television, and to make matters worse the absence of sunlight is resulting in regular power failures as the electrical grid struggles with unprecedented demand; it soon completely fails. As the temperature drops, Greg’s children struggle to survive against an unseen force as their only sources of artificial light run out.
