Indie Murders by Moonlight

Moonlight Murders (click to see it bigger)We got a heads up today about a new indie film that just might be worth your time, even if the poster art leaves a bit to be desired.

Most of the cast and crew of another indie film, Hellbilly 58. have joined up again to make The Moonlight Murders, a film based on a supposedly real incident that went down in Texas back in the 40’s.

In Moonlight, a small town is terrorized by a hooded madman who comes out to kill on every full moon. He leaves no clues so the police are baffled, and soon the entire town is living in fear of sundown. Before you send in angry or confused e-mails, yes it is a semi-remake of the 1977 slasher The Town That Dread Sundown, so the phrasing was purposeful.
