He’s a man of many talents, but subtlety sure ain’t one of them. Duke Nukem tells it like it is, is what I’m saying. So if you’re offended by bad language, you might not want to watch the 9 minute gameplay video below for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, the remaster of the classic 2011 shooter, ’cause he swears like a sailor. Gearbox Software have done a great job of seamlessly integrating Duke into the cutscenes, with actor Jon St. John once again providing his iconic voice. They recently discussed the process of adding him to the game in a new blog entry.

When Bulletorm was originally released back in 2011, it received a fair bit of attention for its endless profanity and exaggerated graphic violence, with the unique Skillshot system awarding the player points for using creative and ridiculous methods to kill their enemies. This often resulting in some of the most over the top gore effects that you could ever hope to see in a game. Fox News even called it the “worst video game in the world” at the time because of its OTT violence, but that’s neither here nor there.

Prepare to hail to the king when Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition arrives on PS4, Xbox One and Steam on 7 April 2017. The original was a commercial failure, but maybe they’ll make a sequel if this new version sells well enough.
