A&E Orders Up More Paranormal Shivers with The Unexplained
There’s a plethora of shows on TV right now dealing with the paranormal, and they all end up pretty much the same way … investigative team shows up, interviews witnesses, conducts investigation, hears or sees a couple of really minor things, ultimately finds nothing, and then we roll credits. If you dig that sort of thing, A&E has a brand new show on the way to give you more, more, and more!
According to Variety A&E is upping its commitment to the world of ghosts, ghouls, and the unknown. With “Paranormal State” and “Psychic Kids” already on the programming slate, the network has ordered an unscripted docu-pilot called “The Unexplained” from Doug Liman.
In the pilot a five-year-old boy talks about his previous life experiences and claims he was actor George Raft, a movie star from 1930s. Air Extreme is set to produce. Liman and Russ Stratton will exec produce with Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant.
