The fine lunatics over at id Software have lots of goodies for id’s latest unnerving and upcoming blast-a-thon Rage on display at this years E3, and though the game is still pretty far off, seeing how far it has come is always tasty!

Fans of Doom, Borderlands, and of course Fallout should be right at home with this title. Let’s check out a brief summary of what you can expect.

“A brand new IP for id Software (of Doom and Quake fame), this all-new title utilizes the company’s unique id Tech 5 technology, aiming to incomparable new levels of graphic presentation in artistic expression and graphic fidelity. Rage offers high-intensity battling and racing gameplay, offering the complexity of race track dynamics and tactics (including a monetary system where you can invest winnings from races to improve your vehicles and character) and the action of a FPS when you take to foot in combat scenarios.”

Look for the game on Mac, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 sometime in 2011.
