There are a few things we can guarantee about Rob Zombie’s 31. It’s going to be brutal and totally gruesome, for starters, and it’s also likely to introduce a couple new villains that will be idolized and soon tattooed on the bodies of horror fans. Would you expect anything less from Zombie? Course not!

While we wait, meet Father Murder courtesy of a new character poster.

The cast of 31 includes Meg Foster as Venus Virgo; Judy Geeson as Sister Dragon; Jeff Daniel Phillips as Roscoe; Jane Carr as Sister Serpent; Richard Brake as Doom-Head; Ginger Lynn as Cherry Bomb, Doom-Head’s very special friend; Malcolm McDowell as Father Murder, the owner of Murder World; David Ury as Schizo-Head; Daniel Roebuck as Pastor Victor; Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as Panda Thomas, the manager of a traveling roadshow known as “The Venus Lux Happy Time Fun Show”; Pancho Moler as Sick-Head; Tracy Walter as Lucky Leo; E.G. Daily as Sex-Head; and Torsten Voges as Death-Head as well as Sheri Moon Zombie, Lew Temple, Sandra Rosko, Bari Suzuki, and Devin Sidell.

Look for 31 in select theaters beginning September 16 from Saban Films and Lionsgate.

Synopsis:
From the visionary mind of the man who brought us House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and Halloween, comes the horrific story of five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game of life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.
