The Benamors Welcome You to an Initiation
Sometimes it’s hard to tell where a film falls on the fine line between horror and thriller, but since the folks behind Initiation promise a “very bloody, intense” experience will be had by those who check out the flick, we wanted to bring it to your attention.
A violent, action-packed thriller from co-writer/director Oren Benamor and co-writer Dan Benamor, Initiation stars Adam Rennie, Dan Horton, and David Terrell. Producers include Mike Kopera and Jon Shaivitz.
Gravitas Ventures will be digitally releasing the film on August 9th. You’ll be able to find it on iTunes, Amazon, Xbox, Sony PlayStation, Google Play, YouTube (for rental/purchase), and VUDU plus on most cable VOD providers.
Synopsis:
Five strangers are kidnapped and brought to a mysterious house in the woods, thrown into a cell and stripped of their belongings. They soon learn that the house is occupied by a bizarre, violent brotherhood, in the last phase of initiating five new recruits. The final test of initiation? To fight a man to the death. Led by Simon, an ex-Marine haunted by past failures, each hostage must fight a recruit in order to gain his freedom. Kill… or be killed.
