Puppetcore Films’ Frank & Zed Close to Doubling its Goal; New Exclusive Photos!
Since October we’ve been keeping our eyes on Puppetcore Films’ Frank & Zed, a movie that is all about the “blood, guts, and felt,” according to the project’s synopsis. The all-puppet horror film is definitely finding an audience as it is currently only a few thousand dollars away from doubling its Kickstarter funding goal.
If the filmmakers do reach their target stretch goal, they plan on doubling the length of the final three-way battle. What’s better than that?
Frank & Zed is directed by Jesse Blanchard, and the producers include Cameron Harrison.
The official Kickstarter campaign ends Thursday, November 19th, at 9pm PT. Rewards include the opportunity to appear in the film as a puppet, hand-crafted weapon props, and an assortment of other more traditional rewards.
Synopsis:
Centuries ago, a desperate battle left a village wasted, a new bride dead, and two mortal enemies dependent on each other for survival. Forgotten amongst the crumbling ruins, our two heroes have eked out a meager existence, each responsible for feeding the other. One fateful day, a villager trespasses into Frank’s hunting grounds. The resulting “harvest” provides Zed with a full tummy and sets the entire town on a course of bloody retribution.
Our undead heroes are out-numbered, out-axed, and falling apart; but they’re not going down without orchestrating a macabre symphony of blood, guts, and felt.
