Real Life Los Feliz Murder Mansion Spawning Horror Movie

It was back in September that Jeff Maysh penned an article over on Medium about a California mansion that has sat unoccupied since the late ’50s, allegedly haunted in the wake of a horrific murder-suicide. It’s the stuff horror movies are made of, and now the true story is becoming one.

Per The Wrap, The Coalition Group and writer Joshua Malkin (Cabin Fever 2) are developing a film based on Maysh’s article. The story centers around the infamous home on Glendower Place in Los Feliz, California, where a man killed his wife and attempted to murder his small children before poisoning himself.

The home has not been lived in or touched for more than 50 years, and many relics from that fateful night are still there in their original location — the home frozen in time during its darkest hour.

Luisa Iskin and John Wunder are producing the Los Feliz Murder Mansion movie for The Coalition Group.
