Described as a “story-driven horror adventure,” the new indie game This Book Is a Dungeon, is, as the title would suggest, a dungeon crawler, albeit with a twist. This time, rather than have you controlling the characters directly, it instead takes the form of an interactive novel where you can interact with the environment via narrative-driven prose.

So it will be more like a novel than a game, but there will be some more traditional video game elements, such as “combat and inventory.” This certainly seems like it could be something completely unique. Head over to Steam to see for yourself.
