SOMA Franchise Expands with Live-Action Miniseries
With the video game SOMA (review) being released last week to great reviews, it seems that the time is right for the universe to be expanded and for more stories to be told. And that’s exactly what’s happening, as it’s been announced that a live-action video series spin-off is being released.
And you don’t have long to wait either. The first episodes already been released and can be viewed below.
The series will explore what happened at PATHOS-II, the doomed underwater research facility where the game was set. The episodes will run from September 28th to October 5th on developer and publisher Frictional Games’ YouTube channel.
With the success of the game and now the series, is seems that SOMA is all set to become a major franchise in the near future.
