Warhammer: Vermintide Gets a Brutal Trailer

A new trailer for Warhammer: Vermintide introduces the witch-hunter Victor Saltzpyre, the self-appointed “Judge, Jury, and Executioner.” Guess it’s not a good time to be a witch.
Set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, which until the recent explosion of Games Workshop video games was largely ignored in favour of the futuristic 40,000 setting, the game chronicles the infamous End Times, a prophesied cataclysmic apocalypse that would bring about the destruction of the world.
As you can see from the trailer, they’re going for a much more frenzied, fast-paced combat approach as opposed to the other recently announced games in the Warhammer Fantasy setting, which are opting for either strategy or RPG styles of gameplay.
Warhammer: Vermintide will be released on Steam later this year.
