Black Holler Raising Funds on Indiegogo
As Friday the 13th and so many others taught us, camping and horror go hand in hand, so a new camping-based horror film always sounds promising.
The plot of Black Holler follows a dysfunctional teen who is sent by her principal on a school camping trip so that she can learn to be a team player. Too bad someone or something in the woods starts picking everyone off one by one. It’s set in 1989, and rest assured they’ve made it clear that all the ’80s stereotypes will be present.
Tamiko S. Robinson stars as “La Femme Laquita Johnson” with Jesse Perry, Brian Russell, Rachel Ward, Sarah Van Arsdal, and Nicholas Hadden. It’s directed by Jason Berg and written by Berg, Ward, and Heidi Ervin.
They’re already close to 50% completion, and they need your help to see it through. Part of the money will go towards blood effects; clearly brutality will be in no short order. Contribute here to make camping an actual nightmare again.
