30 Days of Night Does Juarez, Mexico
A lot of crazy stuff can happen down in Mexico; even worse when the undead are involved. IDW Publishing has announced the release of a new 30 Days of Night installment, this time centered in the rough little town of Juarez, Mexico.
Private detective Lex Nova gets stuck with the job of figuring out what has happened to the missing girls of Juarez. Conservative totals suggest some 200 girls have vanished; other tallies put the number closer to 400. Some dark thing, or things, is out in the Mexico night, ruthlessly picking off the girls as some sort of bloody sport. Things get bad for Lex as he gets closer to finding out the nature of the villains he’s up against, and things get even worse for the girls.
Writer Matt Fraction (Invincible Iron Man, Casanova) and Eisner and International Horror Guild Award-nominated artist and 30 Days of Night co-creator Ben Templesmith have united to produce this new addition to the series. This story was originally published in an 8-issue arc within 30 Days of Night: Blood Sucker Tales but is now being made available for the first time in one sleek volume. Sounds sharp!
