B-Sides: The Hidden in Your EyesAs I began to write this B-Sides, it suddenly hit me that if any sci-fi movie from the Eighties deserves a special edition Blu-ray, it’s The Hidden. Why is that Blu-ray being hidden from the waiting public? The theme song is pretty good, too.

Michael Nouri as an earthly cop paired with not-from-this-Earth enigmatic FBI agent Kyle MacLachlan in pursuit of an alien criminal living its own live-action Grand Theft Auto V fantasy body-jumping from person to person.

From the writer of The Boogens, Stakeout, National Treasure, and Operation Dumbo Drop and the director of A Nightmare on Elm Street II: Freddy’s Revenge, Wishmaster 2, and… Well, let’s just stop there.

Anyway, there’s not much that needs to be said here about The Hidden other than it’s a great movie that you really should see if you haven’t already.

The year the film was released (1987) was the same year the British band The Truth released their most successful American album, Weapons of Love. That a track on that album was titled “Hidden” made it a perfect choice to become the movie’s theme song. The band broke up two years later. The film remains an all-time favorite.
