It seems that this 2022 thriller was not done with its moment in the sun. The movie has clawed its way back into the Global Charts on Max (formerly HBO Max) and into the #4 spot. The movie we all seem to want to revisit this summer is Kimi.
Rotten Tomatoes Synopsis
“An agoraphobic tech worker discovers recorded evidence of a violent crime but is met with resistance when she tries to report it. Seeking justice, she must now do the thing she fears the most: she must leave her apartment.”
Kimi was directed by Steven Soderbergh. It was written by David Koepp. The movie stars Zoë Kravitz, Byron Bowers, Rita Wilson, Sarai Koo, India de Beaufort, and Robin Givens.
The movie hit HBO Max last year and immediately found a massive following. Most fans are praising Zoë Kravitz’s performance while calling it one of their favorite Steven Soderbergh films. Others cannot help but compare it to movies like Rear Window and The Net.
