The first trailer for the action/horror hybrid Artik has arrived and it looks like one helluva bloodbath! While the trailer makes the film seem pretty straightforward, the official synopsis certainly raises a few eyebrows.
“Artik centers around a family-run sunflower farm, where comic-book obsessed serial killer Artik, his life partner Flin, and their family of foster kids are on the hunt for the ultimate comic-book hero until Holton, an Al-Anon attending straight-edge, punk purist, comes between them.”
Okay then…
The feature film debut of writer/director Tom Botchii, Artik stars Chase Williamson, Lauren Ashley Carter, Jerry G Angelo, and Matt Mercer. It will be coming out later this summer.
