We’ve been waiting patiently for the poster and trailer for the upcoming film Sinister 2, and thankfully one of those two things has finally stepped forward.
Sinister 2 opens nationwide on August 21st. The official trailer debuts on April 9th via Fandango, and if they’ve mastered the mystery of the embed code, you’ll be able to find it right here as well.
Ciaran Foy (Citadel) directed Sinister 2. Scott Derrickson, director of Sinister, penned the screenplay with C. Robert Cargill, with whom he also wrote the original film.

Synopsis:
In the aftermath of the shocking events in Sinister, a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity.
