Today they come in the form of the first pics from Sam Raimi’s “>Drag Me to Hell, his return to horror filmmaking that we’ve been none-too-patiently waiting on since 1992. Not only that, but they pegged down the well-dressed director to answer some head-scratchers about Drag Me to Hell, and in the process he actually describes his movie as a “spook-a-blast”. Dig:
“This film is trying to be like a ‘spook-a-blast,’ which is those cheesy carnival rides you get on and you’re jerked around in the darkness, wondering if a skeleton will pop out,” he explained when asked if we would actually see Hell in his movie. ”You’re asking me, ‘Is a skeleton going to pop out?’ So I just can’t, in good conscience, answer that question. Instead I’ll say, ‘No comment.’ [Laughs.] I’ve always wanted to say that: ‘No comment’.”
Indeed. Dig on the link above for more pics and words from the Raimi, and keep it on Dread Central for more updates!
