Today we heard from Garetano that he’s preparing to launch Cottonmouth.tv, a horror site dedicated to celebrating all the things so wonderful about our genre as well as promoting his new short film, “Cottonmouth”, based on the Bissette story of the same name that originally appeared in an underground horror comic called Gore Shriek. How’s that for obscure?
So what’s “Cottonmouth” about? Cottonmouth is the story of four angry ladies who (after suffering from terminal infections) rise from the grave to take their ghoulish revenge on a company man who did them wrong.
The Cottonmouth site is set to launch on Wednesday, October 1st, with a series of vignettes featuring the music of Chris Alexander, “How to Make a Monster” with Jason Alvino, behind-the-scenes footage from “Cottonmouth”, a history of horror comics with Bissette himself, and more. “Cottonmouth” will then premiere on the site on Halloween.
Not much is up on the site now, but we’ll let you know as content is added. For now you can learn more about the “Cottonmouth” film at its MySpace page and dig the “Cottonnmouth” trailer below!
