Wouldn’t it to be awesome to live in a haunted mansion? For most, it’s only a dream. But for those with endless wads of cash burning holes in their wallets, it can be a reality. No matter which group you fall into, and we won’t judge you either way, we invite you to virtually visit five such mansions currently for sale!
The list was compiled by the website Details and includes the former home of Vlad the Impaler as well as one that was once inhabited by the man thought to be responsible for the infamous Black Dahlia murder. Can you say creepy?
Check out information on and images of those two mansions below, and be sure to head over to Details for the complete list!
Location: Sowden House in Los Angeles
Price: $4,875,000
Size: 6,000 square feet
Key selling points: This Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece is by far the best-looking of the bunch, but also the most gruesome. Former owner Dr. George Hodel was suspected of being the mastermind behind the chillingly calculated Black Dahlia murder in 1947, and some have argued that he did the deed in the Sowden House itself. Uh… we’d also like to point out that it’s an excellent specimen of Lloyd Wright’s textile-block construction.
