It’s been awhile since last we had any casting news for the new flick Pay the Ghost with Nicolas Cage and Sarah Wayne Callies (“The Walking Dead”), but that stops now as an actor who’s no stranger to the bizarre and gory has signed on for active duty!
The Wrap is reporting that Lyriq Bent (the Saw Franchise) will be appearing opposite the abovementioned stars. Cage will play “a hard-working NYU English professor bucking for tenure when his 8-year-old son mysteriously vanishes from a Halloween day parade.”
Bent will play Detective Reynolds in the film, which is expected to be released next year.
Uli Edel (The Baader Meinhof Complex) is directing for Voltage Films.
