It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten an update on Albert Pyun’s one-take horror project The Interrogation of Cheryl Cooper; but with the film heading to next month’s PollyGrind Underground Film Festival in Las Vegas, some new artwork and a few stills have arrived.

Pyun told us, “Tony Riparetti did the amazingly sublime music score and sound design. Michael Su beautifully shot it and produced with Cynthia Curnan.”

As for what we can expect from the film, he added, “Cynthia once again wrote the script, and I think we’ve come up with a next generation concept in the one shot, no cuts, found footage horror genre.  It’s unique.  The cast did an amazing job: Tommie Vegas as Cheryl Cooper and Shane Ryan as Detective Ben worked their asses off to provide performances the film required. Newcomer Brittany Bochart was a find, and she plays the third part of Deputy Bardo.”

PollyGrind 2014 runs October 16-18, and The Interrogation of Cheryl Cooper will debut two weeks later during a special screening with the shorts receiving awards; click the link for additional info, including the full lineup.

Synopsis
A young woman name Cheryl Cooper (Tommie Vegas) wakes up in what she believes is an interrogation room in a police station. She is interrogated by Detective Ben (Shane Ryan) about being found at an unfinished Las Vegas hotel where there was a mass killing. The Detective is assisted by a young female rookie police officer named Officer Bardo (Brittany Bochart). Both try to get the details from Cheryl, and as they do, Cheryl begins to remember horrifying details that lead to the reveal of a terrifying fact.
