On the right you can check out a very cool T-shirt design for Marc Lougee’s “>“The Pit and the Pendulum” (review), the first stop-motion Poe adaptation produced by Ray Harryhausen. The shirt was designed by one of our favorite artists, Rue Morgue’s Gary Pullin, who was also responsible for the Dread Central logo back in the day.

The T-shirt will make its public debut at the upcoming Horrorfest Entertainment Media Convention in Denver, CO, which runs this April 18th – 20th. Director Lougee will be on hand to screen the film, host some panels, and do a Q&A about what’s next both for him and in the world of stop motion animation.

For more info on both the short and the show, check out the official “Pit and the Pendulum” site right now, where you can also see the film’s trailer and follow the history of its creation!
