”I’m not writing that film,” he clarified to the mag. “I met with Tony Didio, one of the producers, about a year and a half ago and discussed the project with him and Dean. I had some ideas on how to do a sequel, if the rights were free and clear. But it was my understanding that the producers, whom Tony sold the rights to, were working with [previous Toolbox scripters] Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch on the new movie. Anyway, nothing real came of those initial meetings, and I haven’t spoken to Tony Didio since then. I don’t know the status of the project, but I’m not writing it.”
Weird. I wonder how it came to their attention that he was? Anyway, Reddick did tell Fango about what he is working on now: his directorial debut, Final Cut, which is about a disgraced horror director who finds a way to bring people’s fears to life.
