There are quite a few scoops on the upcoming fourth season, and here are some highlights. The eternal question of whether or not Wu will finally be admitted into the inner circle, however, remained unanswered yet again.
Series co-creator Jim Kouf said regarding where “Grimm” is heading this year: “We keep writing ourselves into corners, and then we have to figure out how to get out of them.”
One of those corners is the fate of Renard, and Sasha Roiz said of the Captain’s apparent demise: “I think we’re gonna try to find some sort of interesting way to bring him back to life.” We’ll also meet his Hexenbiest mother for the first time.
And what of Nick’s lost powers? Star David Giuntoli called Portland’s other resident Grimm, Trubel, his “seeing-eye Grimm, which is nice,” adding, “I would hope I get the powers back on some level.”
Kouf’s partner, co-creator David Greenwalt, says of Adalind’s missing offspring: “There will be some baby seen, that’s for sure.”
One of the show’s biggest mysteries, those bloody keys, will continue for a little while longer. Greenwalt teases, “There’ll be another key this year, and in year 5 for sure, we will answer what those damn seven keys mean and what they lead to.”
“Grimm” Season 4 premieres Friday, October 24th, 9/8c on NBC.
