H.R. Giger’s stunning creation used in Ridley Scott’s film Alien is one of the greatest monsters ever captured on film, and the Alien franchise is one that, despite a few missteps, will always be revered among fans.

That’s why any time something new surrounding it, especially the original film, arrives, we jump at it like a hungry cannibal spying a fat man for the first time in 20 years. IMGUR user Valaquen has put up a behind-the-scenes stills gallery from the 1979 classic that is nothing short of to die for.

The gallery is “a collection of images that I have collected over the years,” writes Valaquen in his description. “The images here are mostly already on my Alien blog, Strange Shapes. I have many, many more which I will share in due time.”

I’m sure I speak for fans everywhere when I urge… please, please, PLEASE keep on sharing!
