Scott Free Tells of Heart

A cross between Jacob’s Ladder and Marathon Man, eh? Not what I would expect from a modern-day retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart, but that’s how Scott Free is selling it.

Scott Free, the production house owned by Ridley and Tony Scott, announced today via The Hollywood Reporter that they will begin work on Heart, with “Six Feet Under” and “Dexter” director Michael Cuesta at the helm, from a script by Doom screenwriter Dave Callaham.

Pre-sales will be going down at AFM, which kicks off today. This is only the first of what Scott Free hopes will be many genre entries with Social Capital, which is co-producing the film. Casting is under way so expect to hear more soon!
