Details have emerged about George Romero’s planned sequel to Diary of the Dead (review) which we first mentioned a few days back (“Romero’s Multiple Diaries” – October 2007).
The Hollywood Reporter got the news that Artfire and Romero-Grunwald Productions have greenlit the Diary sequel, which will pick up right where the first film leaves off. The survivors of Diary have to fight their way out of a mansion full of zombies, making their way to a remote island, only to be plagued by the undead some more.
Nice! Kudos to George for seriously being back in the game!
