Other than reinforcing that it’s set in Paris, NBC’s first promo for its reimagined “Rosemary’s Baby” doesn’t show us much. But that’s okay – we’d rather be surprised anyway! Look for it sometime this summer.

The four-hour “Rosemary’s Baby” miniseries, an adaptation of the 1967 best-selling suspense novel by Ira Levin, is directed by Agnieska Holland (In Darkness, “Treme”).

It stars Zoe Saldana as Rosemary; Patrick J. Adams as her husband, Guy; Jason Isaacs as warlock/coven-leader Roman Castevet; Carole Bouquet as Margaux Castevet, a sophisticated and beautiful Parisian socialite who befriends young Rosemary; and Christina Cole as Julie, Rosemary’s spirited girlfriend.

“Rosemary’s Baby,” produced by Lionsgate TV, is set in Paris. It was penned by Scott Abbott and James Wong and is exec produced by Joshua Maurer, Alix Witlin, and David Stern with Saldana, Cisely Saldana, and Mariel Saldana producing.

Synopsis:
Rosemary and her husband, Guy, move into a Paris apartment that has a darkly storied past. After finally getting pregnant, she becomes increasingly suspicious that both Guy and their mysterious neighbors have ulterior motives about the future of her child.
