Wilkins on for Third Grudge

Man, when are they going to just stop making Grudge movies already? How many times can the same story be told over and over and over again? At least once more…

Daily Variety reports this morning that Toby Wilkins has signed on to direct The Grudge 3 for Sony, with cameras set to roll in January. Wilkins previously worked on the Tales of The Grudge series for producer Sam Raimi and will be making his directorial debut with the Content Film horror offering Splinter before moving on to the 27th Grudge sequel. That’s an exaggeration; so don’t correct me, okay?

No word on what the pic will be about, but if I had to guess I would say it’s about two ghosts who crawl around people’s houses, looking creepy and making croaking sounds.
