An inflated, giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was spotted on the rooftop of a parking garage at the Petersen Automotive Museum on the busy Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Curbed Los Angeles received photographic evidence of the giant marshmallow man from a tipster and investigated the phenomenon. After contacting the museum for an explanation, Curbed LA learned that the museum was testing the marshmallow man on its rooftop and it could return in the future. The timing of their testing and Harold Ramis’ passing was only a coincidence. Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1 Cadillac is temporarily on display in the museum’s Hollywood Gallery.
