Baker is Not Forgotten

I guess it makes sense that a person with such an odd name like “Dror” would be so closely affiliated with “Weird” Al Yankovic.

That’s only director Dror Soref’s history, though; we’re here to discuss his future. The Hollywood Reporter has word that Soref’s latest movie, Not Forgotten, has landed Simon Baker (Land of the Dead) for the lead. The story centers around a bank manager in a U.S./Mexico border town who’s haunted by the death of his daughter. After he and his wife connect with a soothsayer to find out what happened to their girl, the woman’s visions cause all sorts of skeletons from their past to come back to haunt them.

Not actually skeletons, of course. Though that would be cool… Not Forgotten will roll in New Mexico this January and while it doesn’t sound like horror in the purest sense, I think it’s worth keeping an eyeball or two on.
